The Global Renaissance Movement

 

“And the Lord answered me, and said, write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.  For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie. Though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come.”

At The Global Renaissance Change Agent Academy we train our students to monetize their time, talent and resources to gain full control over their lives by enabling them to create their careers and businesses offering their families and communities opportunities for wealth building and become the blessings that others pray for.  This is what each student becomes because what starts here changes the world. If you think it’s hard to change the lives of people – change their lives forever- you’re wrong.  With what we do and the missions undertaken, we demonstrate and teach our young people that the decisions that the make can and will transform and save not just their own lives, but that of their own future children whom will be saved due to their now intelligent actions as well as their children’s children and their families here in the now. Generations will be saved by one decision, made by one person.

But changing the world can happen anywhere and anyone can do it. Our struggles in the world and the lessons to overcome those struggles are similar and to move forward – changing ourselves and the world around us will apply equally to us all.  We outline, demonstrate and teach our students how to lead in an environment of constant stress, chaos, failure fraught with hardships. Yet we can’t change the world alone. We all will need some help.  To truly get from our starting point to our destination will take friends, colleagues, and the good will of strangers and the blessings of God. In this work, nothing matters but our will to succeed.  Not your color, not your ethnic background, not your education and not your social status. There will inevitably be setbacks and failures, times when things we try to accomplish do not work out the way that we plan. There will always be moments when no matter how much work we put in, no matter how hard we try, no matter how well we prepare or perform, we still end up short of where we are aiming for.  There are always moments when we just miss the mark. This is just the way life is sometimes.  These moments in life are designed to wear us down, to break our spirit and to force us to quit. But if you dare press on and continue on in spite of the challenges and setbacks you will find that all of those setbacks truly have prepared for you a stronger come back because all of that resistance has made you stronger.  You’ve gotten a little tougher.  The pain of the setbacks and short comings builds inner strength and brings our physical resiliency.

Life is filled with setbacks and shortcomings.  You will fail. You will likely fail often. It will be painful. It will be discouraging. At times it will test you to your very core and cause you to question the rationale behind the painfully passionate pursuit of that which you seek.  Yet if we want to change the world, we mustn’t be afraid of the challenges.  If I have learned anything in my time and along my journey in this world, it is the power of hope.  The power of one person – King, Washington, Mandela, Lincoln and even a young girl from Pakistan – Malala – one person truly can change the world by giving people hope!

But if you dare press on and continue on in spite of the challenges and setbacks you will find that all of those setbacks truly have prepared for you a stronger come back because all of that resistance has made you stronger. In life there are plenty of opportunities to give in.  To quit.  To say to yourself and the world that you’ve had enough.  Enough of the late nights and early mornings.  Enough of the rejections and constant revising of your strategies, efforts and actions.  All you have to do is quit.  Quit and you no longer have to endure the hard difficulty of dealing with failure while struggling to believe when everything appears to be so unbelievable.  Quit, and you no longer have to endure the hardships that accompany the work of dream fulfillment.  Yet if you want to change the world, don’t you ever, ever quit!

We are only mere moments away from the start of the brand new 2018 New Year.  Moments away from beginning our journey through life.  Moments away from starting to change the world for the better.

It will not be easy.

But we are dedicated, motivated and educated.

It is my hope that I have found someone to help me through this effort.

The Global Renaissance Change Agent Academy offers empowerment messaging coupled with specifically outlined action steps transforming the lives of our students. This is not merely motivational fluff.  There really are ways that our young people can go from sagging their pants to tying ties and wearing suits. We’ll help them to connect the dots so that they are equipped and become well able to travel firmly and swiftly along the path to self – development, armed with pragmatic working knowledge of how self-development leads to wealth development.  And that the acquisition of wealth is not merely to buy things as part of the ever growing mentality of blind consumerism but that our lives, wealth and health and re-sources are truly designed for us to become the blessings that some-one out there is praying for.  For someone, the light at the end of the tunnel is YOU!

Our students are taught to respect everyone. They are taught to respect the process of dream fulfillment as they undertake the work that is global in scope and local in practice.

They will come to know that life is not fair and that they will fail often, yet if they take some risks, step up when the times are toughest, face down the bullies lift up the downtrodden, and never, ever give up; that if they do these things, then the generations that follow will live in a world far better than the one we have today and what we started here will indeed have changed the world, for the better.

Children learning about them-selves within the framework of the larger world, mastering technology, starting businesses and connecting with their peers on the other side of the globe is what this is about and we will be successful with your support. This support for each other is critical and we as individual actors need and must come together if we are to succeed.

We must remember that brick walls are not there to stop us. The brick walls are there for us to prove to ourselves how much that we want it.

Working with young people is among my greatest passions. Helping kids realize their own entrepreneurial talents is what I do. The Omaha Ambassador Trek will give American students the chance to build strong friendships with different people and witness first hand the power of possibility as they themselves participate in the fulfillment of a mans greatest dream that came to fruition through dedication and perseverance.

I love teaching kids. The Global Renaissance Movement is about teaching others to invest their talents, time and abilities into efforts to improve life as we know it through the advancement of PEACE and the elimination of Poverty.

I really do believe that God will put the people in my life whom I need to help me usher this vision into reality. I will show these young students that the world is far larger than their own neighborhoods that they’ve never left. I’m going to continue to tell my story and to share my vision and explain this mission until the day that is certain to come when I write my first Blog posting from Malawi which I will title “Dreams Do Come True”….I’m asking all those who read this to contribute ONE DOLLAR for this Dream.
